Been wanting to do a little compilation of future. Since it's all videos, I will put it under a cut.

Things to note:

• I have started drinking tea with milk. Well, I usually don't have milk laying around and if I do - its old, so I substitute my milk with milk powder. Good enough for tea, it's the taste you want anyway, not the fat.
• Watched Gantz Live Action movies 1 and 2. Not shit-tier, but I`m quite sure nobody, who doesn't already know Gantz, would enjoy it. And even then the story has been changed quite dramatically due to lack of screen-time and budget.

• I installed aNTP (can't ever remember its full name without looking it up) on my google chrome. Looks interesting and will try it out for a while. Sadly, I`m no designer and thus it looks tasteless, but I hope my damn sweetheart will be able to fix that.
• I really need to start saving up some money, thus I really need to stop spending so much money. I`m afraid, however, they I will need every last penny I have soon, since I`m unsure weather I will be allowed to keep renting my current apartment. And the prices on apartments have kind of skyrocketed. Hopefully everything will come out better than expected.
• Last few days I feel like my brain has been working with 40% or less efficiency. Well, I don't really need more than 10% to get along, but still it does come with some negative effects. One of which is me getting increasingly more extroverted due to increased anxiety about future. People get to know parts and bits of me, when I get extroverted. People don't really like me. I need to find a way to stop doing it and just shut up.
• I somehow decided I could start learning Japanese by frequenting on 2chan. I`m somehow still procrastinating.

Recap series - purchases

I think it was back in July, though I`m not sure. Thanks to working overtime (frigging 225 work-hours in a month, lots of night shifts e.t.c.) i got a hold of another nice paycheck and upgraded my computer a bit.

First, and most notoriously, i bought a new monitor (silly picture related) a Samsung SyncMaster S23B300. It's a decent HD LED monitor, nothing fancy, but my eyes will never see the difference between a 500bucks worth screen and a 128bucks one. Even with my perfect vision (color or otherwise).

Secondly, bought a new cooler. An ass-kicking Titan Skalli. Be sure to take a look at the package if you follow the link. It looks great, other than that - it works so good and quiet, that I never even notice it doing anything.

Lastly, I upgraded my RAM. Since i have this old_like_the_world_itself gigabyte motherboard, I went for the small upgrade from 2GB to 4GB. However, to my great disappointment, it turns out, if your motherboard is limited to 4GB, you will never be able to use more than 3GB of ram, as a goddamn 1GB gets reserved for fucking nothing I will ever need. And that's how I discovered, that I have reached my limits at upgrading my old PC and should start saving up. If not for a whole new PC, at least for a new motherboard, sound card and 16GB worth of RAM.
Disappointment of the year.

Well...at least I thought that was the last of it. A couple of weeks later, while messing with my BIOS, i managed to accidentally turn off my PC's ability to recognize the hard drive. Since my hard drive was quite old and getting glitchy at times, after some time I concluded that it died and just went and bought 500GB of empty space. Long story short: new hard drive wasn't working either and after few ours of trying out EVERYTHING i finally managed to get both of my HDDs working.

And this is what becomes of me when I don't have to worry about my next meal anymore. Spent more than 200bucks on that and no fucks were given back then.

The days when I want to grow my hair back, dress up all black, listen to some motherfucking speed metal and just be the plain me. A short flashback and the realisation that the world would never understand or accept me like that.

Anyhow, not getting very far with the android development stuff. Have some ideas on what I would love to make to make my everyday life a tiny bit easier, but meh, even acquiring the necessary software is a hassle. But oh well, since there is nothing better for me to do anyway, maybe I will eventually pull it through...after a year or two. And then give up on it like I have done with pretty much everything in my life so far.

And it's kinda sad that this is the only thing I have to share on my blog in two months.

Currently I`m in a extreme rage mode.
Yesterday I decided to wipe my C: drive and reinstall a shiny new Windows 7, which I did. Had some expected problems with sound drivers etc., but nothing really I couldn't manage...till I decided to install the goddamn Microsoft Office. Whatever version I try installing, the setup keeps giving me the damn "Only one instance of setup may be run at a time" error message I can't goddamn get past. The problem must have been hiding in that I keep 2 partitions and formatted just one...and that I did only quick format (although it shouldn't matter). So far I have tried pretty much everything I can think of. I shut down everything I could that seemed to might be even remotely involved with the setup or MS office process in my task manager...didn't matter. I installed ccleaner and cleaned registry error (on a freshly wiped hard drive, lol)...didn't matter. I went on with doing disc cleanup and then using ccleaner again wiping the empty space on both my partitions...didn't matter. Then I consulted MS support pages ran the Fix It tool for 3 different MS office versions along with another 3rd partition tool that does forceful MS office removal....didn't matter. Then I finally decided to run through the manual removal described in the same said MS support page...didn't matter. I even goddamn ran again through the registry with search removing everything related to office, searching everything that held the keywords mentioned in support page...still motherfucking nothing.
The persistence of this problem seriously amazes me. I have just 2 things left to try. To try installing MS office 2003 version (after I tried like 6 different 2007+2010 versions) which I don't really intend to use, and a repeated format C:, which I really really really don't want to repeat (as well as I don't want to give up).

UPDATE:
Yeah, well, 2003 installed beautifully and worked fine. I tried to install 2010 at the same time and after removing 2003 - still the same message.

UPDATE 2:
Managed to launch the setup in in safe mode and it actually ran for a while...till, as I expected, it started doing something and stopped running. Returned to normal mode and left open only services that ran during safe mode + those that I just couldn't close - still nothing. Amazing.

UPDATE 3:
Well, guess what. I took down windows again, formatted C: again (this time I even deleted the partition, to make sure), reinstalled windows and still - no effect. I give up.

FINAL UPDATE:
God! Finally resolved! What eventually worked was installing office in safe mode...well, switching my computer to clean boot mode. I will remember this method to the rest of my life.

Clean Boot mode
=========================
1. Click the Start Button and type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) in the Search Box and press Enter.
2. Click Continue to verify the permission.
3. Select the Services tab in the open window. Check the “Hide all Microsoft Services” option and click Disable All.
4. Switch to the Startup tab and click Disable All.
5. Click OK to save the settings and select Restart when prompted.
6. Click on the setup.exe in the installation files and try to install the Office program again.

Can we install it at this time?

Note: Temporarily disabling the Startup Group only prevents the startup programs from loading at startup. This shouldn't adversely affect the system or other programs. We can still manually run these programs later.

How to return from a Clean Boot state
---------------------------------------
1. Click the Start Button and type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) in the Search Box and press Enter.
2. On the "General" tab, click "Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services".
3. Click "OK". Click "Restart" when you are prompted to restart the computer.
